On the music tip, have you checked out She & Him?  I just listened to their cd in itunes and i am in love.  Seriously can Zooey Deschanel be any cooler?  ugh die die die.  But seriously its M. Ward and Zooey, and it reminds me of Carol King, the Beach Boys, Joni Mitchell and alot I cannot think of right now.
