For those of you who have wondered who the real Kaile is...

She's on her fourth husband and sleeps in her fur coat.  This is totally her glamour shot.

I think it is time for everyone to meet the real Becky.

I love info graphics.

Now despite the recent trend to make funny info graphics about songs or otherwise,
the serious ones are still the best. How else would I learn the difference between a dinosaur and a dragon?

Or What Josephine's needs and wants are? Which she by the way notes was made in "Kid Pix."

p.s. kid pix is the best program ever, who knew it still existed! need a copy, asap!

Iz waitin for ceiling cat to fall.

Too cute!

p.s. becky, i had a dream that we wrote this whole blog in fake Japanese, like english grammar and words but written in hiragana & katakana and then our friends thought we were fluent in Japanese or something. so random.

This is the reason we haven't bought a couch yet.

I mean, the mutated sheep chair was def some stiff competition, but we need this furreals.
I'd guess it is seriously expensive, but we can make it ourselves.
Or at the very least we should have a giant pixelated wall in our next apt.

Familiar?

dude, this was on ffffound... isnt this in that teeny place where we got pizza and I got hot chocolate after we got denied by the teenagers?

PS...

Scott, the guy from Sacred Mountain used to work with Ordinary Kids and now works for/with Mekanism.  Sweet.

Sacred Mountain

I found this on ffffound and went to the guy's site, sacredmtn.com.  Such cool stuff.  This was a comp treatment for a new Diet Coke campaign and I would start drinking this shit if the can looked like that.  Note to companies, do this more often because its rad and it works.  Seriously, his stuff is a mix of School House Rock and duotoned photos.  I think I'm kinda in love.  It reminds me of Christopher David Ryan's work as well.

Just one of the reasons I love Cleveland...

The front page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer is a huge action shot of a guy getting busted as crack falls out of his pants while the police pat him down.

What an awesome city!

More reason to move to Paris...

Becky doesn't really want a wolf...

Actually, ya she does.

Hey Steve How Bout We Make a Movie and Send it to Your Mother?

I dont know why I think this is so funny.

Hahahah Nerds

This is sad.  They forgot the Command + D that duplicates in Illustrator.  Extra Lazy  Doi.

via ffffound.com and some Flickr site about art for nerds that is set to private and I can't get to.

Jim The Illustrator

Also, Jim Stoten (Jim the Illustrator) is a British, illustrator, from England.  Just in case you missed it, I used repetition to hammer that one home.  He was did the cover and an insert in Amelia's Magazine a few seasons/issues ago and he has a style that reflects both Frog and Toad as well as Yellow Submarine but is his own as well.  He has done work for bands, editiorial, as well as advertising.  The best part of his website is his sketchbook, which is set up as a linear story and is really cool to flip through on his website (jimtheillustrator.co.uk).  You can also dowload one of his books for free on the site.

On a Design Tip...

I found this Blog (thingstolookat.blogspot.com) from this picture of an awesome info graphic on ffffound.  I don't know if you have seen this, but you should definitely check it.

My Dad wasn't Becky's first...

But dad jokes aside, this poster made me think of you with the 70s vibe.

yes, this makes me uncomfortable

especially since it has existed for 3 years.
